Job Description

Uber is hiring a Software Engineer II – Frontend to build and scale the global consumer experience for Uber Eats. In this role, you will work on the Webview team, designing and developing high-impact frontend features used daily by millions of users across 70+ countries.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to ship fast, scalable, and user-centric experiences across food delivery, grocery, and affordability platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable frontend systems supporting 100M+ users

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and testable code

• Contribute to experiment-driven product launches and rapid iterations

• Build end-to-end features for offer surfacing across Uber Eats platforms

• Participate actively in code reviews and engineering best practices

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, data, and UX teams

• Use data and experimentation to measure impact and guide decisions

Basic Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Frontend Development

• Experience or strong willingness to learn observable and scalable frontend systems

• Strong focus on user experience and performance

• Interest in modern UX trends, frontend frameworks, and data-driven development

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Curiosity about experimentation, personalization, and user behavior

• Growth mindset with attention to detail

• Full-stack experience is a plus
