Microsoft is hiring Research Sciences Interns to join its Research, Applied & Data Sciences team in Bangalore. This internship offers students an opportunity to work on real-world research problems alongside world-class researchers and engineers.

As a Research Sciences Intern, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning while collaborating with global teams. This role provides hands-on exposure to advanced research, large-scale data systems, and real-world AI applications in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve performance of advanced algorithms on large-scale datasets

• Conduct cutting-edge research in Machine Intelligence and Machine Learning

• Design and implement prototypes of scalable AI systems

• Collaborate with researchers and product teams from prototype to production

• Develop innovative solutions for real-world, large-scale problems

• Present research findings and actively participate in team discussions

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience publishing academic papers (lead author or contributor)

• Participation in top-tier conferences in relevant research domains
