Air India Recruitment – Security Officer / Senior Security Officer | Delhi

Air India is inviting applications for Security Officer positions for fresh graduates and Senior Security Officer roles for candidates with relevant aviation-security experience. The selected individuals will support airport safety, screening operations, and regulatory compliance at the Delhi station.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols and monitor assigned areas to maintain security standards.

• Handle access control, verify IDs, and manage visitor entries.

• Check and oversee security equipment including CCTV, alarms, and screening systems.

• Identify and escalate security concerns, unusual activity, or safety issues.

• Help regulate queues and passenger movement during peak hours.

• Carry out screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved procedures.

• Operate security devices such as X-ray machines and metal detectors.

• Participate in station-level aviation security meetings when required.

• Support emergency protocols, including evacuation and first-response coordination.

• Maintain proper records, logs, and incident reports for all security-related events.

• Ensure adherence to safety and security policies at all times.

Eligibility Criteria

• Full-time graduation (degree must be completed).

• Security Officer: Freshers eligible.

• Senior Security Officer: 1–3 years of aviation security experience with valid AVSEC.

• Age (Freshers): Maximum 27 years.

• Minimum Height:

  • Female: 155 cm

  • Male: 170 cm

• BMI Requirement: 25 or below

• Only candidates meeting all criteria and those who have not appeared for an interview in the last 6 months are eligible to apply.
