Job Description

IBM Consulting is hiring Data Engineers – Google Data Platforms to join its Client Innovation Center in Gurgaon, Haryana. This role is ideal for freshers and professionals with up to 7 years of experience who want to build a career in cloud data engineering.

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and manage batch and real-time data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You’ll work with global clients across industries, contributing to large-scale data warehouse and data lake solutions while supporting IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, BigTable

• Work with Spark, Hadoop, Python, Apache Beam

• Manage workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Scheduler

• Support data migration and data layer optimization on GCP

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

• 0–7 years of experience

• Exposure to Google Cloud data services and open-source tools like Spark, Airflow, dbt
